We are an all-volunteer program that believes no one in our community should go hungry. Through our gleaning efforts, we rescue surplus fruit from local backyards and farms, diverting it from waste to those in need. By connecting surplus with demand, we contribute to food security and improved nutrition, reduce food waste, and foster a stronger sense of community.
Volunteers can sign up to help us harvest fruit. No special equipment is needed. Open to ages 6 and up. Minors without a driver’s license must be accompanied by an adult as we do multiple sites during one harvest.
We harvest ALL YEAR long. All our harvests can be found on our website and on Eventbrite under “Fruit Rescue”. “Follow” us on Eventbrite to be notified of upcoming harvests when they get listed.
