AgeUp leads the charge for dignity, justice, and well-being for older adults and people with disabilities. Built on the trusted foundation of Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, we’ve expanded our mission — protecting residents’ rights while creating new pathways for education, support, and community connection.
Four ways to get involved:
Ombudsman Volunteers – Advocate for residents in long-term care facilities
Phone Buddies – Make weekly calls to socially isolated adults
Friendly Visitors – Visit older adults in person and provide companionship
Kindness Crew – Share your talents and hobbies with residents
Whether you have 2 hours or 20 hours a month, we can find the right fit for you. All volunteers receive training and ongoing support.
