BAYC’s mission is to prepare youth for a successful, healthy adult life using a youth development approach. Our programs are designed to support successful transitions to adulthood by helping young people identify and develop skills that will enable them to grow into effective citizens equipped to make meaningful contributions to the world.
Understanding that all people experience setbacks during the course of the transition from adolescence to self sufficient independent living, we are committed to meeting youth where they are, ensuring that mistakes become opportunities for growth rather than the precursor to the loss of support services or homelessness.
In 2008 BAYC merged with Sunny Hills Services and now operates as the East Bay division of this nonprofit charitable organization serving vulnerable youth and their families. For more information, visit Sunny Hills website at www.sunnyhillsservices.org.
