BUILD Business Team Coach Volunteers:
Business Team Coaches support high school students in under-resourced schools during the academic year. They play a key role in helping students launch their own business, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and strengthen their social capital. Connecting youth to community members is an essential part of our delivery model.
The commitment for this role is during the academic school year, lasting September/October to May/June. Volunteers will work with students once a month in the fall semester, and twice a month in the spring. Coaches will be placed at one of our partner schools in Oakland or Redwood City.
BUILD.org is a national education nonprofit that started in the Bay Area twenty five years ago. During this time, BUILD has been igniting the power of youth in under-resourced communities to build Career Success, Entrepreneurial Mindsets, and Opportunity. We help students become the CEO of their own lives! In the past year, BUILD has served 2,900 students from Oakland to NYC in our Core Program.
