Our vision is to cultivate the power of personal potential – and we have launched the Daraja Academy, our first project, aimed squarely at that vision.
We believe one girl can change the world.
Daraja Academy is a boarding secondary school for Kenyan girls of poverty. The one thing all Daraja girls have in common is that they could not have gone to secondary school by any other means and they all have unique potential.

They are talented, capable young women who simply lacked access to the education that is necessary to help them break the cycle of poverty. Daraja Academy is their access to a quality secondary education and an improved quality of life. We want to create programs at Daraja that focus on cultural awareness, social conscience and environmental responsibility in addition to a rigorous academic curriculum.
