Catholic Charities of the East Bay

Catholic Charities of the East Bay is a diverse, multi-service nonprofit Human Services agency. Since 1935, it has played a central role in providing social services and advocacy to those most in need in Contra Costa and Alameda counties regardless of their religious faith.

We promote and implement cultural diversity and sensitivity in all agency programs, services and operations.
We accept the responsibility to provide all services in a culturally competent way. We understand that we must continually build and strengthen the agency’s multicultural insight, capacity and competence.

Integration

We are committed to interdisciplinary teamwork and internal collaboration
We are committed to proactive participation in and support of a pluralistic, cooperative service delivery system.
We are committed to coordinated effort.
We are committed to providing a continuum of care, which embraces a holistic person-in-environment approach that recognizes the interaction of social, cultural, environmental and psychodynamic factors.
