Mercy Housing

Mercy Housing, a national nonprofit organization, is working to build a
more humane world where poverty is alleviated, communities are healthy and
all people can develop their full potential. We believe that affordable
housing and supportive programs improve the economic status of residents,
revitalize neighborhoods and stabilize lives. Mercy Housing is redefining
affordable housing by creating a stable foundation where our low-income
residents can explore their potential, supported by practical resident
programs such as health classes, financial education, employment
initiatives, parenting and after-school programs for children. Mercy
Housing serves a variety of populations with housing projects for
low-income families, seniors and people with special needs. • Volunteers
can help by teaching a class such as yoga, tutoring, serving as technical
support in computer labs or helping in other ways. We are also looking for
volunteers to help in our community garden, help host and plan parties,
assist in our food pantries or lead arts and crafts groups!

The information above can be found on the official website of Mercy Housing. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.mercyhousing.org/about
