OneProsper International is a 501(c)(3) U.S. non-profit organization based in San Francisco. Our English Learning Buddy Program is focused on girls’ education in India, with the specific mission of ‘girls educating girls.’

Girls from low-income families in India aspire to speak English but do not have anyone within their families to practice speaking English.

Through our English Learning Buddy, students sign up through our Google Form (linked below). Buddies are then matched with a girl from a low-income family in India. Buddies and students connect via Zoom/Whatsapp meetings on Saturdays 9 PM PST. Students in India read from an English children’s book while Buddies provide constructive feedback on pronunciation/ At the end of the 10-week program, Buddies receive volunteer service hours.

Please note that this volunteer opportunity is limited to girls in Grade 7 to 12.
