ORAM – Organization for Refuge Asylum & Migration

ORAM - Organization for Refuge Asylum & Migration

Founded in 2008, ORAM is the first migration organization focusing exclusively on refugees fleeing sexual and gender-based violence worldwide. ORAM provides clients with free legal representation and conducts advocacy and education on their behalf.

ORAM’s advocacy encompasses non-governmental organizations, inter-governmental organizations, governments and community groups. Our educational efforts include lectures, reports and presentations to the public.

Midway through 2011, ORAM created a five-year strategic plan that outlines how we will continue and scale up our work.

The information above can be found on the official website of ORAM – Organization for Refuge Asylum & Migration. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.oraminternational.org
