Professional Healthcare at Home Hospice

Volunteers are a part of our hospice team and provide supportive
emotional, spiritual, and other services to patients and families who are
facing difficulties at the end of life. Many of our volunteers are family
members who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Survivors are
encouraged to volunteer for our Hospice after their first year of
bereavement.

Volunteer services include:
Preparing Meals
Reading to the patient
Helping write letters
Listening/emotional support
Simple household tasks
Relieving the caregiver for short periods
Volunteering offers the opportunity to reach your caregiving potential. By
volunteering, you develop:
Friendship
Emotional Reward
Experience
