San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center

Description of Organization and/or Volunteer Opportunities Available:
The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center is dedicated to the
prevention of child abuse and neglect, the promotion of healthy families
and the mental health of children.

We need volunteers for our parental stress line, the TALK Line. Parents,
stressed from kids and other matters, call the TALK Line any time they are
stressed, in crisis, or need help. Parents speak with well-trained
volunteers and can have a volunteer call them weekly.

A great opportunity for people interested in a counseling career.
Particularly good for people over 55: we need your life experience!

The information above can be found on the official website of San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.sfcapc.org
