SCRAP

SCRAP is a creative reuse center in San Francisco. Essentially, the way
SCRAP works is businesses and individuals donate unwanted art parts and
materials (things like upholstery sample books, misprinted stickers, or an
old yarn collection), then we sort them, and sell them in our depot to
support our operations and do outreach in the community. We get over a ton
of materials daily, so this is a pretty big job!

Whether you can offer a day or an hour we would love to have you as a
volunteer. Some example volunteer tasks are sorting things onto the
shelves, rolling fabric, organizing, weeding through materials, or helping
a staff member take on a big job. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
We wouldn’t be able to continue without the support of our wonderful
volunteers. We look forward to hearing from you!

The information above can be found on the official website of SCRAP. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.scrap-sf.org
