Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Response and Recovery Team (SARRT)

The Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Response and Recovery Team at Highland Hospital in Oakland has both in-person and virtual opportunities to provide care and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, including hotline counseling, medical and legal accompaniment, community education, facilitating peer support groups, and administrative work. Requirements include completion of the 65-hour California rape crisis and domestic violence certification program, offered at Highland every September and October, and volunteering eight hours per month for a minimum of one year.
