Description of Organization and/or Volunteer Opportunities Available:
There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of thoughtful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.

There With Care offers family-friendly, flexible volunteer service opportunities for individuals of all ages. Volunteering can be onsite at a There With Care location, at your home, or at another location of your choice. We welcome individuals, families, employee teams, and community, student and faith groups. Volunteer on weekdays or weekends; one time, routinely, or multiple times – the choice is yours. (Individuals under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering at a There With Care location.)

DIRECT/IN-PERSON VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Volunteering to care for families directly/in-person includes making Family Deliveries – delivering care packages of food and essential items to families at a hospital and/or other location(s). Family members may accompany the adult making Family Deliveries. Adults (not minors) with an interest in volunteering in this way are required to complete the Volunteer Application, submit information for the Background Check, and attend the Volunteer Training

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTITIES: Choose to make Care Bags, coordinate a Donations Drive or join the Care Cards & Tags Crew. Volunteer as a Food Bank Shopper, a Baby Care Buddy, a Warehouse Supporter, a Food Security Friend, a Parent Care Partner, or help
