Berkeley Food & Housing Project

Since 1970, Berkeley Food & Housing Project has been a compassionate
provider of homeless services. We believe that everyone has a basic right
to food, housing, and stability, and we work one-on-one with our clients
to help them move toward independence and into safe and affordable housing
as quickly as possible.

Volunteering supports the most essential services for those who are
homeless or living on the edge of homelessness. Our volunteers are a
diverse group because we welcome people from all backgrounds and
motivations: Students, retirees, former clients, families, community
groups, faith organizations, and companies.

Our ongoing volunteer opportunities are:

– Serving food at our free Community Meal
– Prepping for meals at our North County Women’s Center
– Making dinner at our Men’s Housing Program

The information above can be found on the official website of Berkeley Food & Housing Project. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.bfhp.org
