Hearst Museum of Anthropology

Hearst Museum of Anthropology

Aside from the satisfaction of assisting in making the Hearst Museums more accessible to your fellow students and the general public and gaining valuable experience in the field of Anthropology, there are further rewards for volunteering. All volunteers who accomplish at least 30 hours of work per semester will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the Phoebe Hearst collections at the end of the Semester. Internship credit may also be available through your academic department.

Museum volunteer hours are 9–5, Monday through Friday; please inquire if these hours do not work for you, as there may be opportunities to volunteer at other times, such as evenings or over the weekend.

The information above can be found on the official website of Hearst Museum of Anthropology. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://hearstmuseum.berkeley.edu/employment_opportunities/volunteers.php
