The Conscious Kitchen

The Conscious Kitchen aims to rethink school meals based on six
foundational principles: fresh, local, organic, seasonal, non-GMO, and
zero waste. Our holistic approach to food service unites a diverse
community of stakeholders working toward a common goal – nourishing
children, while educating students and families about the importance of
healthy food choices, scratch-cooking, nutrition fundamentals, gardening
practices, and overall health and wellness.

As we start year two of our efforts in the kitchen we are reaching out to
our local community, friends, and amazing volunteers to help us prepare,
serve, and cleanup each day for breakfast and lunch service.
