UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley

UC Botanical Garden Docent Training Program Now Accepting Applications!

Do you remember the first time you experienced the wonder of the natural world? The first time you touched tree rings and understood they represented years of growth? The first time you observed a bee gathering pollen? The first time you saw a seed sprout?

If you enjoy helping others find inspiration in plants and the outdoors, apply to become a UC Botanical Garden Docent! Garden docents provide memorable and exciting learning experiences for small groups of school children and the general public year-round by leading interactive, engaging tours of our living museum. Training is provided by the Garden’s expert staff, experienced docents, and by specialists from UC Berkeley and the community. Visit https://botanicalgarden.berkeley.edu/support/volunteer/ for more information and an application.

The information above can be found on the official website of UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: https://botanicalgarden.berkeley.edu
